My son has been in school for close to two months now. It's been a lot harder to make time for things than I had anticipated. My husband has been on second shift this month and last month, so when I pick Elliott up from school, I generally don't want to do anything but hang out with him until he goes to bed. And since my husband is home with me during the day while my son's at school, that means I hang out with him instead of doing stuff I should be doing online or around the house. So between 815 (Elliott's bedtime) and midnight (when my husband gets home) it's a mad dash to get the house clean, work done online, and anything else I can cram in. Which means my blog has been the first thing to go. Sorry guys!
Plus it seems like someone in my house is always a little bit sick. It's usually Elliott or me. Neither of us has been overly sick, but just a little under the weather. In fact, Elliott hasn't missed any school, and has managed to only run a fever on the weekends. Haha.
Elliott is doing really well in school. He had a few minor behavior problems during the first few weeks (mostly not listening), but has straightened out pretty well. He's only been in trouble one time during the last three weeks so we are pretty happy about that. :) He also scored the highest possible in every category except listening on his last report, and even on listening, it said he was doing ok, just not GREAT. He has lots of new friends and really loves school!

Oh yes, I bet you thought you'd have lots of time to get things done:)
I have much more "free" time than last year, since I am not out walking four hours a day, but oddly they easily get filled up.
Sickness come with being around other kids that's for sure. I had my two-year-old son sick earlier in the week, and my five-year-old had to stay home Friday and is finally getting back on track again....now I am waiting for my last son to get sick and probably my husband and myself as well:)
I knew I still wouldn't have much free time, but I guess I hadn't considered what it would be like when my guys are on opposite schedules. When my husband goes back to days on Halloween, I think it will be easier, because I will be spending time with them together. And much less time one on one with either of them. That sucks in a lot of ways, but I think it will be easier for me to keep my house clean, get errands run, and still find time to do stuff online. :)
