As you all know, my husband is active duty Air Force. Some years we take advantage of one of the discounts and some years we don't. My husband and son both have a long weekend this year for Veteran's Day so I think we will be doing at least one of these!
Here are some of the best discounts for Veterans this year:
Veterans eat free with proof of service. There will be a special menu with a list of several entrees to choose from. This one takes place on Monday, November 12. Some Olive Garden restaurants will also give out $10 giftcards to veterans for future visits. Call your local restaurant and see if they are offering it!
Military Veterans and Active Duty Service Members will be able to eat free at any Applebee's in the US on Veteran's Day, which is Sunday, November 11. There will be six entrees available from a special menu. You must have proof of service. Acceptable forms include a military ID, retired ID, Current LES, Veterans Organization Card, a photograph in uniform, or wearing a uniform in person.
Any person who has ever served in the United States Military can receive a free meal from 4 to 9 pm on Monday, November 12 in any Golden Corral nationwide.
Show proof of military service and receive your choice from a menu of six meals on Sunday November 11. This one is at participating locations only, so call ahead!
Other restaurants that have discounts at select locations include:
Krispy Kreme Doughnut
From what I've seen these discounts will vary by location, with some offering free meals, and others offering a certain percentage off. Call ahead and see what your local establishment is offering.
