Throw Back Thursday: Walt Disney World March 2011

Since we are currently planning another trip to Disney World, Elliott and I have been going through our pictures from last time over the last few days.  We thought we would do a throw back Thursday post with a few of our favorites.  We literally have hundreds, so it was hard to narrow it down, but for various reasons, here are a few of our favorites.

Waiting in line to meet one of his favorite characters.

He loved Chip and Dale and never missed an opportunity for a picture.
This was the first character hug he initiated.

Handy Manny was the only Disney Junior character we got to meet, but that was fine, because he was Elliott's favorite at the time.

When Elliott looked at this picture he told me that he almost completely disappeared into Lotso's belly!
Pooh was another favorite to hug.

Elliott had a lot of fun with Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen.  Here Prince Naveen is asking if Elliott is trying to steal his princess after she hugged him.

Elliott's response was "maybe"

Naveen decided they could still be friends, because Elliott had an awesome name, just like their friend, the dragon (from Pete's Dragon)

Pluto was the first character Elliott went up to by himself (he had already met Snow White and Daisy Duck, but wanted an adult with him for those)

He couldn't believe it when Cinderella wanted to dance with him.

Dancing with Cinderella
All smiles after their dance.

Stitch was Elliott's favorite character to meet, but we only got to meet Lilo the one time, he was soo excited!

I can see why it's hard to narrow them down, those are all great!! I love the one with Lotsa, he is almost buried in his belly. And I love his response to the prince. ;)

Ahahaha! He was going to steal away the princess. So cute!

We put the pics on video and then play Disney songs on Pandora as we watch them flip through. We do that every year so we can keep those memories fresh.

Those were some really fun pics of his favorite characters!

He's never been into princesses at any other time, before or after our trip to Disney (except the princess from Frozen). But while we were there, he definitely enjoyed meeting them. :) Snow White was the first character he met, and after that he ended up choosing to meet several of them. When we saw Tiana and Naveen (we hadn't even seen their movie yet) he was pretty excited for some reason, and we waited in line to see them for about 15-20 minutes. That was definitely the longest we waited for a princess. Most of the others had very short lines when we met them. We were able to walk right up to meet Cinderella, Ariel, and Snow White.

This time he says he is willing to wait in line for the Frozen princesses and Cinderella, but otherwise he will only wait a few minutes.
