Weekly Grocery Spending March 8-14

I didn't go to the commissary again this week.  I bought $21.27 worth of produce and bread last weekend at one of the local grocery stores and Walmart.  Then Tuesday my husband went to the commissary and spent $23.23 on tortillas, eggs, cheese and even more fresh produce.

Our weekly total this week was $44.50.

Our weekly budget is $100 per week for our family of three adults, one child, two dogs, and a cat.

Our total spent on groceries for 2013 so far is $952.94.

We are 10.5 weeks into the year, and our budget is $100 per week, so we are currently  $97.06 under our budget for the year.

Keep up the good work! $100 under budget is a great accomplishment!

Whoa, that's looking real good now. :) It's only March and you're about a hundred dollars ahead. It's fun to watch how it's going. I'm sending over a virtual high five!

Thanks guys. I'll probably end up spending part of that surplus this week, though. It's been 3 weeks since I've actually been to the commissary. Elliott needs juice boxes and snacks for school, and we need some meat as well, among other things.
